Have a winner mindset. How to change your mindset.

This is a stand-alone post and can be read separately, it is part of the series Upgrade Yourself. If you want to read the first one just click on the link:'Identify and Remove your Limiting Beliefs. How to upgrade your life.

How to create an exceptional mindset.

To become successful and able to achieve the goals you have to go beyond changing your belief system. To do that you will have to shift your mindset completely or just slightly depending on your current habits. Some traits of a winner mindset might be determination, being proactive, being committed to your goals and most important of all being consistent with your goals and habits.

Your number one enemy against you achieving your goals are not the fact that you might not be smart enough or lack talent, is the wrong mindset combined with excuses as to why you haven't achieved your goals yet. Is normal, excuses make us feel good about ourselves if we do not achieve a goal.

Another reason we fall short of our dreams is that we are not resourcefulness, resources are another topic, resourcefulness.

There are a few steps we will discuss that will aid you on the journey of creating a winner mindset.

Focus on the process.

Repetition makes perfect. The importance of focusing on the process of success for each day is tremendous, by doing so you will get the result you want in time. Simply put this is focusing on a specific task on regular bases will bring you closer to the goals each day.

Trusting the process of each task, and setting up a system that will help you achieve your goals will encourage you to have mindset mastery. Winners have patience with what they do and know that will need patience for everything, you can't achieve all in a day. Trust the process.

Start thinking long-term.

Adopting a winner mindset means you should stop thinking short-term and stop looking for a get-rich-quick scheme or lose 10kg in one week. Trust me I try them and it does not work. You won't get rich in 30 days and you won't lose any weight in 7 days. If you could do all these things in the short term do you think they will sell these programs for 30£? Probably not.

The problem is that we people neglect the patience factor in everything we do. A recent study has shown that we become conditioned to have everything in an instant. Trust me, that is not how it works.

Lack of patience has become the main reason people fail to achieve their goals.

Being single-focused.

Let me ask you, do you jump from one course to another, do you jump from one diet to another, or try to learn multiple skills at once? When you try focusing on too many things at once you end up focusing on nothing. This is a common mistake we all make we can't master several things at the same time.

Try to find something that really helps you and you will probably enjoy doing it a year from now. Focus on that thing until you master it. Do not quit after 6 months or a 12 because you didn't get the results you wanted.

Is normal to have unrealistic expectations when you start something new and probably you will fail to achieve the target. Is normal, just be consistent and focus on the process, soon the results will come.

Learn, apply and repeat.

How many times have you bought a program or a book on financial advice or personal development and never open it? Me, I can't even remember how many times I have done it.

According to research conducted by Open University doctoral students, the average competition of open online courses is less than 7%. Meaning 93% of the students who enrolled for the course and programs have never completed them.

I get it, some programs out there are useless and the delivery might be awful, however, there are plenty of extraordinary programs that will help you get the results you dream of.

Applying a winner mindset and learning, applying and repat will determine the level of success you will have.

Adopt a student mentality.

I can't even remember I caught myself saying: 'I already know this

Many of us think we know something just because we have an intellectual grasp of the matter. Probably that's the reason we get stuck and never achieve our goals.

Is impossible to know how to drive a car just by reading a book on how to drive the car. We will never achieve our life goals only if we read a book on how to do it and go the extra mile. Knowledge without action is nothing and won't take you anywhere.

Let's not complicate our lives, taking action and applying the knowledge will solve many of our problems.

Conclusion and resources.

These are the factors that make you a complete winner mindset, adopt these small things and you will see how your goals will become reality in time.

  1. Do you have any advice how to keep focusing on the process of success for each day on a specific task on regular bases? Sometimes I feel like I can't focus on anything. It's depends on the mood which I have it during the day

  2. I liked how you linked the mindsets to the habits in our life's.
"To become successful and able to achieve the goals you have to go beyond changing your belief system. To do that you will have to shift your mindset completely or just slightly depending on your current habits. "

Such a good point of view in my opinion! Keep writing about this personal development mindset!

  3. Your advice to try to find something that really helps you and you will probably enjoy doing it a year from now. Focus on that thing until you master it. Do not quit after 6 months or a 12 because you didn't get the results you wanted. Souds challenging. I will do it, even if it's about a long term
